Quick Overview

"Heaps of wines get delivered to my old house, sent without checking or emailing. Oh well. These come from the mighty Mike Bennie Tasting Facility, where we share so many things, not least wine.
Good fragrance and flavour, green apple in with citrus, an attractive chalky feel, length good too, but the acidity on the finish is a little too coarse and takes the edge off (or puts it on), an otherwise excellent wine. Minor quibble. Good drinking and good value" Rated : 92 Points Winefront.com.au

Product Description

Only 9 kilometres from Watervale, the Polish Hill River region is quite a bit cooler and typically the fruit ripens 2-3 weeks later. This, combined with the soil, produces fruit with finesse and intensity. It is the slate of Polish Hill River, as opposed to the limestone of Watervale that gives rise to the point of difference between these styles. The later ripening of grapes in the Polish Valley works well in the area's favour.

Pale straw in colour with steely green tinges. Delicately perfumed with a hint of musk and bath salts. Textured with orange rind, lemon, lime and spice. Delicate with crisp natural acidity and balanced finish. A perfect accompaniment to oysters natural.

Pale straw with steely green hues. Delicately perfumed with bath salts, talc and a hint of musk sticks. Powerful florals, riverstone minerality and fine natural acid.
