The 2011 Crabtree Watervale Riesling is made entirely from Crabtree Watervale Estate fruit. Bunches were handpicked and carefully selected to retain the freshness and punchy lime skin and citrus fruit flavour for which Watervale is renowned.
This wine represents the finest free run juices from the east and south east estate blocks with no pressings added. The juices were cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to capture all the natural flavours.
With lifted aromatics of fresh pineapple our estate Riesling shows plump mid palate weight of grapefruit and citrus spice balanced with finely textured, juicy acidity.
Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, this wine should mature gracefully for 6-8 years.
