"The potency of these wines to develop gracefully over time is a feature, as is their complexity with maturity. World class - combines floral, stone fruit and citrus flavours." Robert Geddes, Master of Wine, Author, Australian Wine Vintages
Freycinet is quite a remarkable winery. Hit after hit.  This has body and complexity but it's the length through the finish that really impresses. It tastes of green herbs, red apples, grapefruit and spice and even in its youth it keeps you dodging and weaving to catch all that's going on. 94 points Winefront.com.au

  2. West Cape Howe Great Southern Riesling 2014

West Cape Howe Great Southern Riesling 2014

“Sourced from Block 6 of the Langton Vineyard, picked over a period of weeks. Everything about the wine screams quality, and puts beyond doubt the ability of Great Southern to produce superb riesling when made with the skill evident here; intense varietal citrus blossom aromas and flavours, the acidity a strand of stainless steel wire running through and providing the structure for the endless finish.”

Best’s Riesling customarily has a whisker of sweetness. It’s part of its appeal. It has an excellent quality record too. This is a little less shouty than the 2012 but it’s none the lesser for it. It’s a wine, simply, of balance and length.  Comfortable in its skin. It tastes of lime and melon with floral notes drifting throughout. Chalky, textural finish. Beautiful from every angle.  Campbell Mattinson, WineFront, 3 September 2013

The lime juice characters again dominate and run the length of the palate. The floral notes are just evident and the natural acidity gives focus and drive. The wine is zesty and has an incredibly tight and linear structure, yet has great generosity and succulence, as is the want of great Riesling.
The wine is tight and restrained with an attractive delicacy now, yet will blossom with age for at least fifteen years.

Aromas of citrus lemon tart and grapefruit with garden herbs.Lively upfront lemon zest with a slatey minerality not normally seen from this vineyard. Unmistakable Polish Hill River power on the palate, this vintage will be one for the long haul.

..... It’s got plenty of flavour, but still stays refreshing, while acidity is lightly chalky, lightly green-apple-feeling. Nice drink 89 points winefront
....., we formed the opinion that the most powerful, aromatic wines from this Clare sub-region originate from this band of limestone”. Wilson 2014 delivers Watervale’s floral and lime-like aromas and flavours on a full but finely structured, delicate, dry palate. Chris Shannahan

This Riesling couldn't be anymore youthful - it's one of the first bottled 2015 South Australian whites I've had. It's already looking a treat too, water green in colour with aromatics that you can smell halfway across the room.
    Love that joyful fruit.
Underneath there is some post-ferment banana esters, a little peachy juiciness and then a very dry edge underneath. It's fruit, not acid, motivated, with a smashable combination of gooseberry and nectarine fruit without tipping into flab. Off-dry, though it never feels awfully sweet, a trick that should be commended.
Drink this young and savour the taste of delicious fruit (like I do).

    Details:11.5%, Screwcap, $25
Best drinking: 2015-2016 (though it will live for ages after that not necessarily get better)
    Score: 17.7/20, 92/100"

A little bottle of deliciousness. I don't score, but if I did, I'd give this 96/100. Rating: 96 Points; Winsor Dobbin, Wine of the Week, January 2013.
... an extremely luscious brandy snap, cumquat, nut and tea palate. This is seriously old material; 375 ml; Rating: 94 Points; James Halliday
... it's refreshingly vibrant, balanced and without any hint of cloying sweetness. Rating: 96 Points; Tyson Stelzer; Wine Taste

One of the Barossa's greatest gifts is its unique collection of fortified port and sherry style wines. This 30 year old (average age) pedro ximinez is sensational, essentially an amontillado sherry with emerging nutty, caramel, apricot and raisin characters, bergamot and racy acidity remaining. Rating 5 stars Tony Love
