"From the ‘Mystical Wine’ series from the Sons of Eden. Woooooooo. Big Corey Ryan reckons it’s one of the best they’ve made.
Beautiful pure and pretty thing this is, all white flowers and bath product perfume, sweet citrus and a suggestion of pie apple. Delivers juicy fruit flavour with a superb clean core of acidity, the lightest of fine chalky texture and a very long finish tweaked with ruby red grapefruit freshness.
Great to drink now, but no hurry of course.

Three Eden Valley vineyards, handpicked, half of the crop spending time on skins. 6g/l residual sugar. Presents as delicate but lengthy with lime rind/juice and slate flavours floating convincingly through the palate. Gently textural. More soft than sweet.
Beautiful style of wine. 93 points James Halliday

This 2015 is lightning stuff. It's floral and delicate with lovely, zingy acidity and an underlying seam of fresh limes and green sour plums. Long, complex and thoroughly refreshing. "Something a bit earthy here, like tobacco or similar, some flowers, lime and lemon. Racy, crunchy and very dry, mouthwatering pebbley Polish with verve and cut and a very long dry finish.
Not for the timid, but packed with personality and energy." 94 points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, Nov 15

"This is Black Label, which we all know means high quality and top shelf, even though it does not come in sealed plastic bag…
Slight fenugreek reduction, lime juice, white flowers and bashed rocks (or something like that). Light, tight and lime juicy, with grippy flinty texture and a particularly good finish that’s well focussed and grapefruity.
    Excellent wine. A classic mouth-watering Eden." 94 points Winefront.com.au

It’s not just a wine of class it’s a wine of compelling drinking. Perfume is a little shy but pretty with frangipani floral notes, wet slate, ginger and lemongrass spice. The palate is zingy and tingly with crispy, fine acid and lacy with tangy, limey fruit flavours. In a high drinkability zone right now, the finish is mouthwatering and impressively long.
It’s a wine that dances across the palate, fresh, vibrant, juicy yet never feels broad or freewheeling. So very fine to drink.
Brilliant release."  95+ points Mike Bennie Winefront.com.au

The lime juice characters again dominate and run the length of the palate. The floral notes are just evident and the natural acidity gives focus and drive. The wine is zesty and has an incredibly tight and linear structure, yet has great generosity and succulence, as is the want of great Riesling.
The wine is tight and restrained with an attractive delicacy now, yet will blossom with age for at least fifteen years.

..... It’s got plenty of flavour, but still stays refreshing, while acidity is lightly chalky, lightly green-apple-feeling. Nice drink 89 points winefront
....., we formed the opinion that the most powerful, aromatic wines from this Clare sub-region originate from this band of limestone”. Wilson 2014 delivers Watervale’s floral and lime-like aromas and flavours on a full but finely structured, delicate, dry palate. Chris Shannahan

This Riesling couldn't be anymore youthful - it's one of the first bottled 2015 South Australian whites I've had. It's already looking a treat too, water green in colour with aromatics that you can smell halfway across the room.
    Love that joyful fruit.
Underneath there is some post-ferment banana esters, a little peachy juiciness and then a very dry edge underneath. It's fruit, not acid, motivated, with a smashable combination of gooseberry and nectarine fruit without tipping into flab. Off-dry, though it never feels awfully sweet, a trick that should be commended.
Drink this young and savour the taste of delicious fruit (like I do).

    Details:11.5%, Screwcap, $25
Best drinking: 2015-2016 (though it will live for ages after that not necessarily get better)
    Score: 17.7/20, 92/100"

A little bottle of deliciousness. I don't score, but if I did, I'd give this 96/100. Rating: 96 Points; Winsor Dobbin, Wine of the Week, January 2013.
... an extremely luscious brandy snap, cumquat, nut and tea palate. This is seriously old material; 375 ml; Rating: 94 Points; James Halliday
... it's refreshingly vibrant, balanced and without any hint of cloying sweetness. Rating: 96 Points; Tyson Stelzer; Wine Taste

One of the Barossa's greatest gifts is its unique collection of fortified port and sherry style wines. This 30 year old (average age) pedro ximinez is sensational, essentially an amontillado sherry with emerging nutty, caramel, apricot and raisin characters, bergamot and racy acidity remaining. Rating 5 stars Tony Love
