Pale straw-green tank sample. A fascinating wine that only starts to reveal its character on the finish, and even more on the aftertaste, that continues to expand its roll call of citrus/lime fruit after there is no wine left in the mouth. I suspect it will merit higher points given a few months in bottle, and will live for a decade. 92 points James Halliday
Learn MoreAn impressive performance from O’Leary in a vintage that challenged others, this is a wine of taut definition of fresh lime juice, overlaid with the perfume of pink lady apples and the texture of crunchy pears. It’s concentrated and defined, with rounded guava notes and the chalky minerality that characterises Polish Hill. 92 points Tyson Tselzer
Learn MoreVibrant pale straw with bright green hues, this wine reveals a lifted bouquet of talc, citrus blossoms and zesty lemons. The refreshing palate brings together the enticing flavours of citrus and limes, akin to the refreshing flavours of a citrus sorbet in between courses. The delicate acid persistence goes on and on! It displays great purity of aroma and flavour, coupled with succulent natural acidity and finesse.
Learn MoreClassic Eden Valley Riesling with the 'Head' twist from exemplary Wine Maker Alex Head. ... Pale straw with slight green hues. The nose shows lemon pith and lime rind with lovely florals. Lime juice, rose water and some creamy textural notes fill the mid palate and taper off to typical quenching citrusy acidity. A touch of sweetness secures balance and keeps the wine fun and easy to drink.
