The nose shows delicate floral notes, enveloping citrus blossom and a touch of musk. The palate opens with grapefuit zest developing further to a white flower fullness and a crisp minerality on the finish. The wine lingers refreshingly with a fine balance between stylish Riesling fruit notes and natural acidity.

The Pewsey Vale Riesling is a rich and intensely flavoured wine. Classic fruit aromas of talcum, crushed stone and limes, with a hint of overlaying dried herb. The palate shows great length and depth with lemons and limes. The wine finishes with a soft but fresh natural acidity which balances the flavour intensity and a minerality that will reward medium to long-term cellaring.

Our Hilltop Riesling shows fragrant pineapple crunch and juicy refreshing acidity. Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, enjoy this wine slightly chilled. Serve with fresh grilled sardines and dressed garden salad.

A whisp of smoke on opening but clearing quickly to reveal a wine that’s so light and pure, yet of remarkable depth and concentration. Lime, almost a lemon curd flavour and perhaps a suggestion of apple–the flavour is there–almost feels soft when you first taste it, then turns crunchy, spicy and runs very very long. ...  The beautiful aroma and juicy, intense, lemony varietal flavour comes with a load of refreshing natural acidity and not a sign of the fatness that can accompany forward young rieslings. 2012 looks to be a great riesling vintage in the Clare Valley.
