..... ironstone, low oak impact, a broad charismatic finish rounds it out. Love this wine. It’s one of the best releases of Simpatico I can recall. Rated : 95+ Points Gary@winefront.com.au

Marius Symposium Shiraz Mourvedre 2016 $50.00 per bottle
...... Medium bodied, a nutty pecan and praline thing going down, energy and character, an almost glycerol texture, with resolved and ripe tannin, beautiful backlit acidity, and a tacky wet paint tannin finish of fine length. It’s vinous. And forgive the blasphemy, almost has a Pinot Noir character about it. Likely to be a bit of a crowd-pleaser with it. Rated : 95 Points Gary@winefront.com.au

2016 Marius Wines the Symphony Shiraz $55.00 per bottle
......densely packed stony tannin pushing through chocolate, and herb-laced red and black fruits. All that fruit, yet no real sweetness to speak of. Superb length, silty tannin, pretty oak, and vibrant fruit. In short; a complete wine.” Rated : 96 Points Gary Walsh Winefront.com.au

2016 Marius Wines the Simpatico Shiraz $42.00 per bottle
Deep, black olives rolled in dried herb, blackberry, maybe raspberry, medium to full-bodied, thick ropes of tannin pull it surely through the mouth, there’s a bright almost ‘mineral’ acidity, that dried herb perfume really punctuates the wine, ironstone, low oak impact, a broad charismatic finish rounds it out. Love this wine. It’s one of the best releases of Simpatico I can recall. Rated : 95+ Points Gary@winefront.com.au

Marius Symposium Shiraz Mourvedre 2016 $50.00 per bottle
Tarry, earthy, boysenberry, blackberry, very spicy, dried rose, pretty in a rugged way; a garrigue aftershave? Medium bodied, a nutty pecan and praline thing going down, energy and character, an almost glycerol texture, with resolved and ripe tannin, beautiful backlit acidity, and a tacky wet paint tannin finish of fine length. It’s vinous. And forgive the blasphemy, almost has a Pinot Noir character about it. Likely to be a bit of a crowd-pleaser with it. Rated : 95 Points Gary@winefront.com.au

2016 Marius Wines the Symphony Shiraz $55.00 per bottle
Quality tannin, and plenty of it, makes many a wine. Marius gets it, and with the Symphony, you most often cop the full philharmonic orchestra of tannin. Deep bows and rumbling timpani. Wonderful. Red and black fruits, floral perfume of lavender and vanilla, dried herb, wet earth and spice, grilled meat on opening too. Full bodied, but not heavy, feels inwardly concentrated with layers of densely packed stony tannin pushing through chocolate, and herb-laced red and black fruits. All that fruit, yet no real sweetness to speak of. Superb length, silty tannin, pretty oak, and vibrant fruit. In short; a complete wine.” Rated : 96 Points Gary Walsh Winefront.com.au
