Quick Overview

"96 Points. Matured for 17 months in French oak (35% new). Reflects - in the best sense - John Duval's long career as the chief architect of Grange. This brings depth, texture and complexity to a palette (sic) of black fruits, ripe tannins and oak. It cries out for patience (as does Grange), and the greater your patience, the greater the reward. 14.5%. To 2045. $50" - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion 2018.
"94 Points. Deep red/purple colour, with a bouquet of smoky charred oak barrels, the palate full-bodied and rich, with ample chocolate and vanilla, toasty oak and a hint of coffee grounds. There are fruitcake flavours on the palate, which is full-bodied and deep, rugged and generously flavoured and structured. It will be best kept for a year or two, minimum. Preferably longer."- Huon Hooke, HuonHooke.com, August 2017.

Product Description

Deep ruby purple in colour. Attractive blackberry and blueberry aromatics, complexed with some savoury spice. Full bodied and generous, with layers of dark berry

As would be expected of a wine with such pedigree, the 2015 John Duval Entity Shiraz is another high quality Shiraz from this esteemed winemaker. Made with the intention of delivering an elegant Shiraz true to the Barossa, this includes some Eden Valley Shiraz to help maintain the elegance and style of Entity. Approachable in its youth, this has impressive fruit depth and ample structure to ensure this wine will cellar for many years to come.
