Unusually savoury too. That's really really good. Slight balsamic notes add piquancy and edge, but don't necessarily intrude, though I'd rather they were not there. So much character and life to this wine.  94 points Winefront.com.au
Sophisticated architecture. Oak is a minor player, contributing to the texture but never obstructing the fruit. There’s a joie de vivre about the whole affair which is just impossible to deny. Longevity is pretty much assured. 94+ Excellent

Made in a Spanish early drinking style. Deep blue-red in colour. A lifted floral nose of blueberries, raspberries with just a hint of spice precedes a palate with luscious berry fruits and cherry ripe flavours. The soft and silky tannins leading to a seductive moreish finish.

It has a classically sweet aroma, full of bright juicy red fruits, currant and quince, however the 2013 ‘Vincent’ is a different beast from many of the other 2013 Grenaches or Grenache dominant blends I’ve tried so far.

Its aroma is less overwhelmingly floral – instead it has a more savoury meatiness, with an underlying minerality and structure that begs to be examined. On the palate it shows the same sweet fruit but it finishes magnificently dry, with savoury spices, hints of cinnamon, clove and bitter cocoa. The tannins are small and grippy but incredibly smooth, and combined with and long, drawing acidity give it great length and a superb finish.
It is a phenomenal wine for under $30 and should be on everyone’s go-to list for lighter, complex, and dangerously moreish South Australian reds.

Fresh and floral, with a dusting of pepper over blue and black fruits, and maybe some liquorice. Medium to full bodied, open weave grainy tannin, fresh black fruit and mocha, with an almost Ribena juiciness to it. Slight peppery character and fractionally too perky acidity, but has precision and excellent drive through the palate. Pretty good length too. 91 points Winefront.com.au

Sheer Burgundy in colour. Sweet musky florals of raspberry, white pepper spice and anise. The palate is plump, textured, medium bodied and carries sweet, red fruits, liquorice, and pepper through a finale of Grenache's warmth, finesse and silky tannins. Try this versatile wine on its own, 1 bottle at a time or with Pizza/Pasta. Drink now or up to 5 years. 14.5% Alcohol.

Dark earthy notes, deep dark and meaty raspberries, dark berries, spice, dark berries, spice, berries, spice .... well, you get the idea. Toss in kirsch, touches of , herbs, pepper and that 'wild' earthy edge and you get the idea, this is one interesting, fascinating nose on a wine! Can this really be Barossa Grenache ... its so Southern French, and so intriguing I cannot remember a wine like it! This is the most interesting and intriguing wine I have tried this year, well, for many years perhaps, and just what I think wine should be ... challenging, interesting and individual. Great wine ... full stop ...  If you hate surprises, and wish your Barossa reds to taste the same, this is not for you, if you love wine, drop everything and grab this wine Gavin Trott

Complex without being try-hard about it. Gorgeous mix of various berried fruits, licorice, grainy tannin, savoury-smoky notes and clovey oak. It's at the upper end of mid-weight but it's mouthfilling. High quality tannin and length. Warm finish but impressive all round.

Ripping wine. Alive with flavour and, remarkably, riven with tannin. Berries galore: raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries. Cloves, aniseed and spicy sawdust notes too. Medium-bodied at most, but beautifully fruited and structured.
Great value too. A wine you just want to drink and drink. 93 points Campbell Mattinson Winefront.com.au
