Yalumba The Scribbler 2010 opens with a lift of raspberries, sweet spices and licorice followed by the fresh aromatics of herbs and crushed plums. This is a beautifully polished wine of medium to full body. The Cabernet Sauvignon structure defines the palate with the Shiraz cascading generously through the middle.

Ripe red and dark berries, elegant purple florals and beautifully integrated lightly charred oak. Subtle gravely aromas, a hallmark of the vineyard, sit below strong primary cassis and gentle mint. Fine svelte entry, medium weight,  it builds in layers of flavour and waves of tannin.

Pertaringa's Understudy Cabernet Petit Verdot has a deep crimson colour. A perfumed nose with violets and Turkish Delight particularly associated with Petit Verdot, underscored by blackcurrant and spice with earthy nuances. The palate indulges with luscious rich flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry and stewed rhubarb
