    Regular Price: $14.00

    Special Price: $12.50

...a touch of pencil shavings oak, hints of tobacco and spice, and a lovely creamy mouthfeel. It has beautiful mid-palate fruit weight, and good length with a long fine tannins. It has structure and class and elegance, and it is delicious now, or will cellar beautifully in the medium term. Absolute class. The Auswine panel
.... packed with edgy, up-front cabernet character of green capsicum and raw coffee bean, blossoming into crunchy redcurrant, red cherry and fragrant rose bud character. Vibrant acidity conspires with well balanced dark chocolate oak and firm, fine tannin presence to build considerable structure and endurance.” – 94 Points Tyson Stelzer

...  pretty much pitch perfect for a Coonawarra red. Medium-weight but strong and robust. Blackcurrant all the way, with (overt) eucalypt and bay leaf and integrated smoky oak. It’s perfumed and fleshy and yet taut and controlled. Noticeable acidity but excellent balance as a whole.
A top vintage of Majella cabernet – for the long haul.94 points

A blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2012 Anaperenna is profoundly scented of creme de cassis, blueberry compote and black cherry pie with hints of aniseed, pepper, chargrilled meat and underbrush. Big, full-bodied and voluptuous on the palate, the generous blend of blackberry and meaty, savory flavors is structured by a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins and refreshing acid through the very long finish. Deep red in colour, the nose is rich with perfectly ripened dark blackberry, elderberry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium bodied, but intense with coffee and vanilla characters adding to the dark fruit. The finish is long and textured with fine, grainy grape tannins. This wine will reward careful cellaring and we recommend decanting before drinking.

$16? ... Juiciness from start to finish. Medium-bodied but it feels more generous than that. Opens up nicely in the glass and just keeps on keeping on. Another hit for the Longhop brand. 91 points Winefront.com.au
What a delicious, juicy and ripe, dark-fruited South Australian Cabernet this is. Two thumbs up. drink 2013-2018 .... Score: 17.7/20, 92/100 ... Would I buy it? I'd easily drink a glass. Maybe heaps more. It's that good. Australian Wine Review

Every second wine advertisement or email is spruiking some bottle you have never heard of as the "bargain of the year" or an "unprecedented great deal". In the case of Kym Tesuner's new-release 2012 The Gentleman, made from Eden Valley fruit, I'm not completely sure there has not been a mistake with the pricing; some awful clanger that no one has yet picked up on. It's fruit-driven with good tannin structure, soft and medium-bodied, unmistakably cool-climate cabernet that you'd expect to retail for around $30. A fellow wine writer I respect found the nose too confronting, but it was not an issue for me. I'd be extremely happy with this at $20 a bottle. Windsor Dobbin
