    S C Pannell Arido Rosé 2012

    Regular Price: $25.50

    Special Price: $24.00

Pale colour so it's perhaps the only blush you'll experience if you drink it with rosé fashionistas. Pretty, perfumed with rose and licorice root, cherry blossom and the cherries to go with it. It's light-bodied and fresh, marries flavour withfinesse, and has gentle non-grating acidity and mildly chalky texture. Not overly dry, nor is it sweet. Dry licorice-tinged finish. It's just the sort of rosé you want to drink the hell out of. Spot on. GW Score: 93 points Drink: 2012-2015

    Regular Price: $20.50

    Special Price: $18.00

A red you can drink in summer, a rosé you can drink in winter. An all year round wine you can drink either chilled or at room temperature. It's sweet-fruited but essentially dry and when chilled it never feels hard - as of course a rose shouldn't. Woodspice, licorice, sweet red berries, fresh leather. It's not in the pale provencal style, that's for sure. But really, you have to try this. Yee-ha value. 92 points Winefront.com.au

There’s impressive poached pear and fresh lemon fruit presence here, even a touch of baked apple and nutmeg, pulling into a nicely honed tail of cool Adelaide Hills acidity from this single vineyard in Charleston. One-third fermented in old French oak barriques helps to build its finely mineral texture, rounded out just a touch by residual sweetness on the finish. 92 points Tyson Tselzer

Light red with pink and purple hues. Fresh strawberries and rose blossom mingle deliciously on the nose with hints of toffee apple. Juicy summer berries tantalise the taste buds with the raspberry lolly sweetness balanced nicely with zingy and zesty acidity which transforms into a crisp Granny Smith apple finish.

really good. Varietal warm bitumen/dried fig/honey/black fruit Monastrell, with a juicy-jubey touch up from Syrah. Very silky with decent length and a nice tapered palate to a finish where the fruit tannins live.

has a strong and savory bouquet of mixed red and black fruit, lots of dried herbs and a dash of leather. Tasting the wine reveals jammy mixed berries, dried herbs, and some good prominent tannins. (Prominent, but not overdone by any means.) This is a very good, rich wine with some savory smoky notes. The finish is long, dry and spicy with a bit of mocha, some earthiness and a little dark berry. Viva la Monastrell!
