Quick Overview

94 Points James Halliday
Light but bright crimson hue; a surprise packet with an indecent amount of complex varietal fruits. Cherry and plum engage in a duel to establish primacy, the referee coming in with spicy/ savoury tannins to give context to the contest – which ultimately remains unresolved.

Product Description

This could get my vote as the year’s most drinkable wine. Bonus points as a result. Not for cellaring; for drinking now. I’m buying some even though I don’t need it/have too much wine already.

Striking floral edges with cuts of bright red berries create a fresh yet complex attack on the senses. Lifted rich fruit and spice parry along the palate to develop a finish of fine-grained tannin and bright acidity. The Dagger has been honed to create a vibrant, rich, earlier drinking wine displaying all of the hallmark aromas flavours and texture of Pinot Noir.
