Quick Overview

"Has that almost slurpy, mouth-watering texture, if you get the gist. Drizzles across the palate with juicy, pulpy mixed citrus, tonic water, juniper and a lick of steely-mineral character. Plenty of detail in the wine but you feel overwhelmed by its ease of drinking and sense of general ‘deliciousness’. I like the light pucker that rolls through the finish too; that’s a delight. A hard one to put down. "

Product Description

The Peglidis vineyard has been carefully tended by the same custodians for the last forty seven years and is an important wine growing source for wines by KT. This dry Riesling and its intense fruit flavour, shows graceful power and is balanced with juicy acidity.

The hand picked fruit from the Peglidis vineyard, which is focused on natural farming, is my twelth release from this vineyard. With delicate floral spice and succulent, fleshy citrus fruit, this wine displays all the fine hallmarks of the Watervale region.

Our hand picking and careful bunch selection from the 2018 vintage has produced great reward. Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, you can be confident that this wine will continue to reward you with careful cellaring.

The DNA strands of Watervale swirl between Peglidis and Churinga vineyard wines from Wines by KT, always rendered with texture and personality in mind. The 2018 releases feel a little easier access, though cellaring will be a charm regardless.
