Dog Point pinot has a lot to offer. It’s spicy and powerful, loose and easy-going through the mid-palate but tight and focussed through the finish. It’s a general mass of sour-sweet, cherry-plummed fruit intensity but the aftertaste is all tobacco and spice and cedarwood. Excellent complexity and bound to cellar well.
