Bright crimson colour leads to aromas of raspberry, toffee apple, sweet spice with hints of earth. The palate is lively and firm with a crunchy texture, excellent flavour with persistent sweet red berry flavour that lingers.
"Old vines, wild yeast, whole bunches and then basket pressed to old oak.
Lovely grenache. Excellent. It crackles with spice, it runs with fruit, it’s splashed with earth. Exactly as you’d like your grenache to be. Effortless, honest, pure and pretty. Ripped with tannin too. Everything as it should be. The Purple Hands winery is in the best of form."
