Jack's is a terrific success and a cracking value. It has all the wonderful, fleshy texture and fine tannins that you expect of Greenock and the balance between the wine's sweet fruit and savoury components is exemplary. Wild aromas of mulberry, wood spice, dark cherry and mocha is super attractive and leads to a palate with a surprisingly deep, velvety texture - typical of a low yielding Greenock vintage.
Structured yet plush and not at all simple, the fine-grained tannins make themselves felt on the long, anise-infused finish. A cracking follow up to the superb 2012 in a more robust, yet equally enticing package. A bargain.

The Jack's Shiraz was predominantly sourced from the Kalleske's Home block with small parcels included from the Hill and Moppa blocks. Black core with crimson rim. Vibrant plum, cherry and blueberry pie dominate the nose with hints of raspebrry, eucalyptus, pepper, spice and cedar notes. Concentrated black and red fruits entwined with dark chocolate, liquorice and supported by soft supple tannins.

Shimmering black core with a crimson red rim. Alluring aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and bilberry dominate the nose, while seductive notes of dark chocolate, liquorice and quince flirt in the background.  A hint of cloves and white pepper surface after a swirl or two. A concentrated silky palate, full of flavour and very well balanced with beautiful rich Barossa fruits.  Plum and dark berries along with charry oak gives a luring finish with fine silky tannins. Delicious!
