The nose is expressive and inviting with aromas of strawberries and cream, raspberry and redcurrant fruits with hints of white pepper, spice, thyme, licorice and creamy lees characters. ...again with an attractive white pepper lift poking through the vibrant fruit.. The wine finishes, long, dry and savoury.

...The southern Rhone may not be my bag, but again I’d be jumping into this. Violets, peanuts, dark cherries, kirsch. Controlled. Tight. Needs some bottle age or a decent decant. Complex aromas, perfumed almost, inviting, beguiling, sweet but in a savory way, never tripping the fine line of stunning fullness and over extraction. Licorice, dark berries, herbs ... A wonderful, must have wine from a fantastic vineyard and talented wine maker. Gavin Trott
