This wine, a modern type of French sauvignon, has intense varietal personality, suggesting tropical fruits, blackcurrants, grass and minerals. It tastes forward and fruity, refreshing and clean. Ralph Kyte-Powell
It’s cracking value. ... Tropical fruits and hay. Acidity gets a little stringy on the finish but it’s bright, flavoursome and different-enough to make you want to reach for more. Compelling in its category. Winefront.com.au

Pale straw-green; a floral bouquet of apple blosom and spice, right up there with the best of them, yields to a palate with great drive to its lime juice flavours that last long after the wine is swallowed. Right up there with the best of them. 96 points James Halliday's Top 100 NSW Wines 2011
Learn More... a master stroke. Rather than adding floral notes, the Roussanne adds weight and complexity. This wine is very elegant, as the plum and red berry flavours roll down the palate. The wine has a dry finish and considerable length - very appealing (95 points). Alontin Australian Wine
... imagination-stretching complexity and an unwavering sense of poise, energy and internal harmony. Vineyard sources in high country Eden and the Barossa hills maintain a lively acid profile, supporting impeccably textured, gravelly, fine-grained tannins that draw every nuance of detail long into a tightly focused finish. Definitive new age Barossa. 96 points Tyson Tselzer
"Bright salmon-pink; its scented bouquet is outgunned by the tinkling piano keys of the palate, skipping from one variety to the next and then back again. Roses seldom have fruit-derived mouthfeel, but this one does in spades, and is a bargain by any standards." 94 points, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2013

... pretty much pitch perfect for a Coonawarra red. Medium-weight but strong and robust. Blackcurrant all the way, with (overt) eucalypt and bay leaf and integrated smoky oak. It’s perfumed and fleshy and yet taut and controlled. Noticeable acidity but excellent balance as a whole.
A top vintage of Majella cabernet – for the long haul.94 points Campbell Mattinson Winefront
