  1. Bleasdale Generations Malbec 2012

    Bleasdale Generations Malbec 2012

    Regular Price: $41.00

    Special Price: $38.99

Deep purple-crimson, it is sourced from two estate blocks and one local grower .... the best selected for this wine. 14% alc; screwcap 95 points James Halliday Weekend Australian
.....This wine needs a huge sleep in a dark place to build on that already noticable complexity, to soften out and round off those tannins, and to let that coiled up power and intensity, uncoil. Seriously, the BEST Australian Malbec wine I have ever tried, and a cellar special ... a special wine this one. - Gavin Trott

    Ravensworth Hilltops Nebbiolo 2014

    Regular Price: $34.00

    Special Price: $32.50

    As low as: $31.00

A first for Ravensworth, ..... long, long maceration of skins, use of only seasoned oak and no additions other than the required pinch of sulphur dioxide to preserve the wine and then zero filtration. Try it now, a savoury wine with typical rose petal aromas with morello cherry and an intense tannin profile.
"All over this. Lots going on in the bouquet with dusty spice scents, undergrowth, floral scents, red berries on brambles. Chewy, chompy texture, flush with red and black fruit flavours, subdued with ropes of powdery tannin, dragged impressively long, finishing with ripe fruit and very firm pucker. Feels savoury from the get go, earthy, firm and gnarled. Husky, gruff nebbiolo in the best possible way." 93 points Winefront.com.au

Hellyers Road Tasmanian Distillery Single Malt Whiskey

    Regular Price: $92.00

    Special Price: $88.00

The nose shows fresh fruit on cereal, a touch of vanilla, coconut oil with a hint of spice evident in the background.  The warming palate is almost creamy in texture, and delivers the generous malty flavours promised by the nose in a most distinguished fashion.  Our original is destined to become a benchmark Australian single malt.

For whisky devotees, our single malt will be a tantalising experience.

  2. Parnasse French Cabernet Sauvignon

    Parnasse French Cabernet Sauvignon

Likely I won’t make any new friends by saying it, but most Australian red wine under $15 is kind of gross. Well, maybe not gross, but often they try too hard: too much cheap oak, sweetness, acid adjustment, high alcohol etc. etc. all at the expense of basic drinkability.
Blueberry and mixed berries, wild herbs and nuts with a little chocolate. Medium bodied, light tannin with some grainy grip , balanced acidity and a nutty faintly perfumed herbal finish. Great mid-week drinking. Balance and value.
Can’t recommend it highly enough. 90 points Gary Walsh Winefront.com.au

Almond, dried flowers and dried herbs – beautiful perfume – green melon and citrus. Light to medium bodied, dried herb and bright fruit, shapely acidity and pleasant chalkiness –
just spot on. Clean long finish. Terrific. 93 points Winefront.com.au"

  1. Head Wines the Ancestor Grenache 2014

Head Wines the Ancestor Grenache 2014

    Regular Price: $100.00

    Special Price: $95.00

    As low as: $90.00

Contemplative wine this one, and much like grand Pinot Noir, of which it shares a certain weight and perfume, it really evolves and shifts around with time in glass. Turkish delight perfume dusted with pepper and dusty exotic spices, raspberry and ripe strawberry, raw almonds, pears poached in red wine studded with clove and cinnamon, and a host of other things, real or imagined.

Light to medium bodied, rippling with tone and muscle, funk and spice, slaty tannin and dryness, then that kiss of red fruits and perfume. It's pretty, and tough at the same time. Takes some time and effort to get to know, though certainly it's worth the effort. Quite outside the mainstream of Australian wine too, which is no bad thing. Real vinosity and verve. Think the score is more or less right. 96 points Gary Walsh Winefront.com.au"

    Regular Price: $22.99

    Special Price: $21.00

    As low as: $20.50

..... Bright, friendly, fruity, spicy perfume. Juiciness to texture, some savouriness of earth and stones in the mix of dark, gently sweet fruit with a whip crack of acidity to freshen the palate. It’s like every wine you’ve drunk too much of because you’re onto a good thing. Slurp away, satisfied, touch of complexity, feels good in the mouth, goes down with a glide. Yes thanks; and what a bargain! 93 points Winefront.com.au

Includes 10% tinto cao; matured in used French puncheons for 8 months. Has the same gravitas that is unique to McLaren Vale grenache, immediately establishing this is a real red wine, not a raspberry milkshake. You don't even have to go past the bouquet to know its cred,
dark fruits as much as red, and good tannins to boot. 95 points James Halliday

Kaleidoscope hues of amber and gold, flavours of butterscotch, raisin and treacle. Be seduced by the world's most celebrated and decadent dessert wine.

    James Halliday 93 Points James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 2013 & 2014
Tony Love - The Rutherglen classification means this is a younger, fresher and lighter muscat, yet it still has raisin and butterscotch flavours with a milk-choc sense that suits chocolate mousse. My Best Dozen, Sunday Herald Sun, 4 May 2014
Steven Spurrier - Sealed with a glass closure to preserve freshness, this boasts a superb amber-gold hue, rich, warm nose; and beautifully concentrated, exotically sweet raisiny flavours. An explosive joy with every sip. Decanter Magazine, April 2012
