  1. Turkey Flat Mourvedre 2009

    Turkey Flat Mourvedre 2009

    Regular Price: $36.99

    Special Price: $36.00

THE WINE FRONT - Campbell Mattinson, - This mourvedre from Turkey Flat spent 20 months in French oak puncheons. We have another winning mourvedre here. It's dark berried and earthen, leathery and polished. Spicy, cedary oak makes a delicious contribution and its grainy, assertive, rusty tannin is a highlight. Lovely length. Medium-bodied but almost porty in its ripeness. Beautiful wine to drink even now though it can be cellared with confidence too. Rating: 94 Points

  2. Teusner The Albert Shiraz 2010

    Teusner The Albert Shiraz 2010

Blue and black fruit, peppermint and creamy nougat oak. Ripe, but only just nudging full bodied, with a smooth and even palate, good acid balance, fine tannin, and a long sweetly fruited finish. Has some finesse – not clunky – a lively finer style. Sure to cellar very well too.  Rated : 93+ Points Winefront.com.au

  3. Greenock Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

    Greenock Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
    $43.00
...remembering what life was like away back on the other side of this troubled adolescence. (BASS CH) It's slender, silky-then-velvety, whimsical, impossible ... as elegant as all get out ... and Cabernet like only the old north-west Barossa can grow (CYMBALS) ... Ka-boom! Just sit down for a while son. I reckon this'll really rock around 2020. Start making plans. 94++ points Phillip White Learn More

Dark red to black colour. The nose shows raspberry, aniseed, tar, cola, vanilla cream, rosemary, sage and menthol. The palate has layers of liquered red fruits and complex, supple tannins. The sweeter fruits and glycerols seem to completely coat the tannins underneath. drink now or up to 10 years. 13.7% Alcohol

This wine reflects the up & coming Shiraz vineyards of the Barossa, rather than the battle hardened old vines which make up the core of our other cuvees.

Dense, rich and opulent, this wine combines great fruit purity with texture, complexity and finesse. Whilst offering immense pleasure in its youth the 2011 Woodcutter's Shiraz will no doubt develop beautifully. Learn More

Atlas Wines 516º Barossa Valley Shiraz 2010

Full crimson-purple; from a single old vine vineyard in the Ebenezer district of the Barossa Valley. A very different wine to 429, with a more lacy and open texture, travelling to spice and pepper flavours more typical of much cooler regions. Once again, it is the lightness of touch on the finish that makes the wine. 96 points James Halliday

  3. Spinifex Taureau 2009

    Spinifex Taureau 2009

A long and very tight finish. Delicious wine, and will improve (quite a lot I think) with a little sleep in the cellar! Is a really good and very interesting wine that will develop into something even more in 3-5 years. Its that old expression, a food wine, really comes alive with some great tapas, grills of meat dishes.  The auswine panel
