... even and perfectly pitched with an impressively long palate. Cranberry freshness and a sort of almond flavour add further appeal. Likely to improve and gain complexity, if you can wait. Irresistible. GW Score: 95+ points Drink: 2013-2020+.
Bushing King 2011 - Gold Medal winner, Trophy Winner, stunning Grenache
Pure essence-y, concentrated and deep: strawberries – fruit and pips – plus toffee. There’s brick dust and older oak Stilton-like smells too. Fabulous. And the palate is fabulous too, but more specifically it is super-deep fruited, intense, slippery textured. 96/100, 10/10, $63. Tim White AFR
A little bottle of deliciousness. I don't score, but if I did, I'd give this 96/100. Rating: 96 Points; Winsor Dobbin, Wine of the Week, January 2013.
... an extremely luscious brandy snap, cumquat, nut and tea palate. This is seriously old material; 375 ml; Rating: 94 Points; James Halliday
... it's refreshingly vibrant, balanced and without any hint of cloying sweetness. Rating: 96 Points; Tyson Stelzer; Wine Taste
One of the Barossa's greatest gifts is its unique collection of fortified port and sherry style wines. This 30 year old (average age) pedro ximinez is sensational, essentially an amontillado sherry with emerging nutty, caramel, apricot and raisin characters, bergamot and racy acidity remaining. Rating 5 stars Tony Love
Excellent vitality and drinkability. Blackberries, cranberries, sap and smoke. Has that ashen, meaty note so characteristic of cool vintages like 2002 and 2011. Has enough sweetness though to keep Barossa shiraz drinkers happy. Enough slurpy, smooth texture. Clovey, peppery, licoricey finish. Compact and complex. Great wine to hook into. Learn Moreit fairly glides along though the mouth, finishing long and sweet. Subtle savoury elements and brown spices too. Typical Barossa Grenache. High quality at the price and a very good drink. 92 points Winefront.com.au

Learn More classic Barossa and superimposes it onto a resolutely medium-bodied palate of finely textured, honed tannins and tangy acidity. Black plums, black cherries and violets carry seamlessly through a lively and crunchy palate, accented with fruit mince spice, dark chocolate and black pepper."
