The stunning Ébano Crianza is made from 100% Tempranillo, known locally as Tinto del Pais, with an average vine age of 20 years. It has a vibrant purple colour with intense fruit notes of ripe cherries, mulberries and raspberries. The wood is well integrated and keeps alive the earlier fruit as well as adding toasty aromas. Ébano 6 is made from 100% Tempranillo and spends 4 months in French oak. Great fruity structure, powerful finish.

A super vibrant black/ purple colour in the glass heralds a lively dark forest fruit and black cherry nose, as well as a lushness and hints of liquorice and spice. The wine has a rich, textural and even palate tied together with beautifully structured tannins. This is a medium to full-bodied style of wine.

This wine is incredibly exciting with a huge range of exotic florals and spices in the bouquet. I see hints of cinnamon or the richer cousin Cassia bark. Initially it has a broody dark berry tone and then lifts with some delicate floral notes like the roses grandpa used to obsessively tend; dark ruby rose. The palate explodes like the fruit of a pomegranate with a nice tang linking in with the gravelly tannins. It's like a locomotive on the palate, it keeps building steam. Great vitality and perfume!
