A red you can drink in summer, a rosé you can drink in winter. An all year round wine you can drink either chilled or at room temperature. It's sweet-fruited but essentially dry and when chilled it never feels hard - as of course a rose shouldn't. Woodspice, licorice, sweet red berries, fresh leather. It's not in the pale provencal style, that's for sure. But really, you have to try this. Yee-ha value. 92 points Winefront.com.au
"Bright salmon-pink; its scented bouquet is outgunned by the tinkling piano keys of the palate, skipping from one variety to the next and then back again. Roses seldom have fruit-derived mouthfeel, but this one does in spades, and is a bargain by any standards." 94 points, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2013
Learn MorePale metallic copper flecked with pink/purple. The nose shows perfumed candy, raspberry, strawberry and cream with delicate citrus notes. The palate shows light red sweet fruits with clean, citrusy acidity. Soft, delicate mineral finish - as grape to glass as you can get. Perfect for Mediterranean and spicy cuisine. Drink now or up to 3 years.
Learn MoreThe nose is expressive and inviting with aromas of strawberries and cream, raspberry and redcurrant fruits with hints of white pepper, spice, thyme, licorice and creamy lees characters. ...again with an attractive white pepper lift poking through the vibrant fruit.. The wine finishes, long, dry and savoury.
.... The cool 2011 season has coaxed out the spicy side of Barossa rosé, lacing it with red pepper, greengage plums and watermelon, finishing almost dry. 92 points Tysont Selzer
