....... Very clean, with fine-grained, powdery tannins. A precision wine, which drinks superbly now and will age very well. The extra age before release is a bonus." Rating: 97 points. Huon Hooke,
... tannins and fruit, working seamlessly together; the length of flavour is nothing short of staggering, and while a joy to drink as a young wine, patient cellaring will be well rewarded." Rating: 96 points. James Halliday

Plenty of lavender, dried rosemary, hung game-meats, musk and white pepper. The palate is well weighted with plenty of texture and fruit flavour’s of ripe, plum, blackfruit’s, mulberry and cherry. As to be expected there are the rich savoury and spicy aspects that we love from this variety in abundance. Nutmeg, Dutch licorice and a great earthy weight. Ripe, chalky tannins wrap in to a long persistent finish.
Learn Morea complex mixture of ripe blackberry and plum fruit with a dash of creamy vanillin oak. The palate is medium to full bodied which starts with some sweet plummy fruit, the flavour then builds in the palate to provide an explosion of raspberry flavours. There is some lovely mouth coating tannins which combine with dark chocolate oak and fruit to provide a great depth and length of flavour.

there's nothing but good news here. It's a gentle cherry/berry style with a fresh violet lift and some spicy complexity on the finish. Fine tannins give it more definition and structure than you'd expect. It's only going to get better with two or three years in the cellar, so make sure you go long on this one. Gavin Trott
Another great example of the quality of this vintage in Coonawarra. Silky smooth seamless structure with those tannins and oak cut precisely into the elegant fruit. 97 Points; Ray Jordan's Top 100 Australian Reds, The West Australian July 2012
Learn More.... a wonderful balance of warm toasty flavours on the finish. The structure of this wine shows both the power of a typical multi layered Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay with an underlying elegance. For mine, among the best young Art Series Chardonnay I have tried, and I have them all back to 1999, and a classic in the making with time in the cellar. Will develop brilliantly ... world class wine! - Gavin Trott
