Veuve Ambal specialises in sparkling wine from the Burgundy region in France, but they can't call it Champagne. This one is made the same way as Champagne, but from a blend of white grapes, including chardonnay. It's quite fine and delicate in style, with aromas of citrus and honeysuckle. The palate is quite dry with a stone fruit centre, and a talcy mineral finish. It's amazing value for a touch of the exotic.
Pale yellow in colour this Blanc de Blancs has a remarkably fine and full mousse. The fruity bouquet shows peach and apricot notes. The palate is creamy and soft. The finish clean and zesty.

This sparkling point noir/chardonnay from Burgundy has a slight coppery tinge, and appealing complexity of glace stone fruit, citrus and patisserie. It tastes creamy smooth, dry and complete.
