Quick Overview

Kaleidoscope hues of amber and gold, flavours of butterscotch, raisin and treacle. Be seduced by the world's most celebrated and decadent dessert wine.

James Halliday 93 Points James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 2013 & 2014
Tony Love - The Rutherglen classification means this is a younger, fresher and lighter muscat, yet it still has raisin and butterscotch flavours with a milk-choc sense that suits chocolate mousse. My Best Dozen, Sunday Herald Sun, 4 May 2014
Steven Spurrier - Sealed with a glass closure to preserve freshness, this boasts a superb amber-gold hue, rich, warm nose; and beautifully concentrated, exotically sweet raisiny flavours. An explosive joy with every sip. Decanter Magazine, April 2012

Product Description

The fruit is allowed to become very ripe on the vine before harvest. It is picked and crushed, then macerated for up to three days. The must is pressed and the juice is fortified with spirit to 18%. The resulting wine is then aged in barrel from 8 to 80 years, depending on the product classification it is destined for.The resulting wine is then aged in barrel from 8 to 80 years, depending on the product classification it is destined for.
